Colorado isn't just a beautiful playground for skiers in the winter and outdoor enthusiasts in the summer. It is also a state rich with bowling buffs, beautiful centers, unpredictable weather and the perfect place for USA Bowling and Team USA to make some noise. Months ago when Jerry Koenig, CEO/Executive Director of USA Bowling, laid down a challenge against his men's Team, Storm was quick to accept. Together the two organizations with the support of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce have created the event of the season "We are pleased to have been selected as the host city for the USA Bowling event", stated Kevin Hougen, President of the Chamber of Commerce. "With over 30,000 league bowlers in the metro area, you know you will be among friends and supporters in Aurora, Colorado."

Hosted by Brunswick Heather Ridge Lanes in Aurora, Colorado, Pro-Am matches are scheduled on Saturday, September 28 at 9:00 P.M. and Sunday, September 29 at 9:00 A.M. All bowlers will have the opportunity to bowl with some of their favorite men's Team USA bowlers, including National Amateur Champion Andrew Cain, Michael Mullin, Tony Manna, Jr. and David Haynes. They might also be teamed up with PBA star and Team USA alumni Robert Smith, or Steve Kloempken, Derwin Pitre and David Garber.

The main event will take place on Sunday, September 29 at 12:00 P.M. Spectators will witness a clash of generations as Team USA 2002 takes on Storm Team USA alums. President of Storm Products Bill Supper stated, "Storm has been a strong supporter of Team USA for many years. This event is a wonderful opportunity to showcase both Team USA and Storm alumni of Team USA in a lively and friendly, yet highly competitive arena."

Butch Burtscher, Brunswick Heather Ridge Lanes' General Manager for over 20 years, said, "We are very pleased to be the host center for the Team USA exhibition. This event will give the folks of Denver a great chance to see Team USA up close and wish them the best for their year ahead."
