-Michelle Feldman Selected BWAA Bowler Of The Month

      September 5, 2002 Michelle Feldman was voted Bowling Writers Association of America Bowler of the Month for August by a select panel of the organization, BWAA President Lyle Zikes announced today.

      Feldman, 26, a nine-year pro from Skaneateles, N.Y., captured her 10th Professional Women's Bowling Association title by defeating Kim Terrell of Antioch, Calif., 255-180 in the championship match of the Louisville (Ky.) Open.

      Pete Couture of Titusville, Fla., who won his ninth Professional Bowlers Association Senior Tour title at the PBA Senior Jackson (Mich.) Open, was a close runner-up in the balloting.
