Bowl Your Own Game 10/30/1999 - By George Freeman
People often try to get the scoop on a tournament by talking to friends who bowl an earlier squad. And when earlier squads post low scores, don't panic. You are only bowling *your* game. All the suggested drillings, pieces of equipment they used, and oil pattern charts don't necessarily mean anything when you bowl.
If you rely on advice too heavily, you may not make the right choices that apply to your game. So take such advice with a grain of salt, and see what the lanes tell you during practice. Keep the advice in the back of your head, but bowl your *own* game.
