George Freeman's Expert Bowling Tips:
Eating Like A Champ 1/16/2000 - By George Freeman
I love a good meal like everyone else, but if you want to perform your best in bowling, or any other sport, you have to monitor what you eat before you take to the lanes.
If you are bowling in a tournament, try to avoid anything greasy or high in cholesterol. It may taste good, but in about 2 hours it will kick in, and you'll be sluggish, not good for a bowler. Try to eat light, like maybe pasta with light dressing and a salad. That way your body will have the energy it needs, and still be able to keep the brain focused on bowling.
Discuss your issues with bowlers who thrive on helping each other out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Physical/Mental Game & Lane Conditions Forum at BowlingFans.com Message Board Community.
