Welcome to the BowlingCommunity Mixed Virtual League sign-up page. We are currently seeking bowlers who can replace bowlers who either drop out of or quit the Winter 2012 league. Please review the rules – the basics are “it’s a fun league for everyone”.

The Public Display Name (Nickname) should be the same as your BowlingCommunity forums nickname. Public Display Names may be checked against the user list on the forums to verify that a bowler signing up is a bona-fide forum member.

Your book average should be one of the following:

1. Members returning from the Fall 2011 league will use their final average from that league, provided they submitted scores for at least 9 games. Submit your current average in that league, but keep in mind the secretary will adjust it at the conclusion of that league.
2. Members who were in a virtual league in the 2010-11 season but didn’t return for the fall should use their higher average from either the Fall 2010 or Winter 2011 league, provided they submitted scores for at least 9 games.
3. New members in a regular league in the 2011-12 season should use their current average for at least 9 games (preferably 21 or more) in the league they wish to post scores from.
4. New members having only a summer league average in 2011 may use that average.
5. New members wishing to post open bowling scores should bowl at least 9 games in the center and on the lane conditions they wish to use and report their average from that.

Substitues who are not placed on a team in the Winter 2012 league will be considered signed up for the following league (Fall 2012).

Bowlers signing up should continue to read/post to the forums, as they may be contacted via private message when teams are formed for the league.
