***** Return from Reno *****
HOST GSTDs Diva and Maroon are back from WIBC National Tournament and Convention with money still in their pockets. As a first time delegate, Diva found the entire process very eye-opening. The delegates voted to raise the national dues $2, while allowing modest increases at the state and local levels as well.
Diva reports the bowling went very well and the squads floored on time. If you're interested in seeing how a specific bowler from your hometown fared, visit http://www.bowl.com/bowl/WIBC/common/results/form.html
***** Tip of the Week - Pre shot routine *****
During any type of bowling, be it practice, league, or tournament, it is a good idea to have a pre shot routine. A pre shot routine will allow you to fall into a rhythm more easily, and allow you to perform with more consistency. Some people have a routine of picking up their bowling ball, wiping it with a towel, wiping the sole of their feet, then getting up on the lane. That's only one example, the possibilities are endless. It should be something you are comfortable with and can repeat on a regular basis with little or no difficulty. The routine will provide you with a more comfortable "feel" in your game.
