Tournament of Champions:
- Brunswick - Rick Benoit wrote:
Brunswick had 2 representatives on the show at the Tournament of Champions, Walter Ray Williams Jr. and Steve Jaros.
Steve was using a Contact Zone with a 4 1/4 inch pin with the CG kicked out and an extra hole 5 inches over and 3 inches down. The surface was out of the box.
Walter was using a Danger Zone HPC with a 4 1/2 inch pin the CG was on the midline directly beneath the pin. There was an extra hole 1 1/2 inches past his axis point on the midline. The surface was prepared with Trizact to 35 microns.

Dave Husted used our new ball The "ROCK STAR." The pin was around three and a half inches from his axis. The cg a little closer with a medium sized extra hole. Dave bowled well all week. As you could tell scores were pretty low and circumstances were very tough. Congrats to everyone who made the show as it really was a "grind out" condition. We'll c-ya next week at the Columbia 300 open in Austin.

Tommy Delutz, Jr was throwing Elixir's, on the show. On the left lane he was throwing a 5 3/4 in. pin with the cg 4 1/2 with an extra hole, and on the right lane he was throwing a 6 in. pin with the cg 5 1/2 from his axis. Both balls were out of the box. The left lane was slightly tighter than the right so he used the ball with the hole to get it to start up. It was a tough shot that night and all week.
