Mike Aulby proved this week he has one of the best mental games on tour. He never really matched up the whole week with what you or I would call great ball reaction but kept grinding it out for a third place finish. He used a Rock Star, 5 inch pin, 3 inch cg down about 2 inches from his axis. Mike bowled very steady the whole week..He never had a really great shot but just kept battling to come within a breath of bowling

  • Ebonite International - Del Ballard wrote:
Doug Kent was using the Vortex 2 (as usual),with a 5 inch pin on his centerline, just below the center of his grip.CG down, hole down.

Jason Couch was using a V 2 also with a 5 1/2 pin above his fingers, hole close to his axis.

  • Storm - Steve Kloempken wrote:
Whew! those darn 9 pins got us this week! Pete Weber was using an El Nino X-It with a 3 3/8 pin and mass bias in the strong position with an extra hole 2" off the axis along the axis midplane....Maximum flare was good this week and I think you could tell that Pete had a fantastic matchup on the lane, with one exception....the solid 9 pin! He was throwing the ball so well on Sunday that the pins could hardly notice a ball rolling through them. Pete flat out threw the ball too perfectly! Better luck to him next time! I won't be surprised if we see him on the show again this week.
