Ebonite International - Del Ballard wrote: Chris Hayden was using the vortex 2 and a puma drilled the same. 5 inch pins above his ring finger.
Faball - Jeff Mark wrote: Walter Ray Williams Jr. used two different Black Hammer 2001 balls. Both balls were drilled the same but used with different surfaces. This layout is a 4 inch stack layout off Walter's axis, which is 6 inches. The pin is next to his ring finger and the cg is next to his thumb. No weight hole is needed because of a starting top weight of 1.70 before drilling.

On the left lane the surface that was used was out of the box, and on the tighter right lane it was 220 sanded and clean and dulled. This ball was also used on the show last week from the Orleans where Walter finished fifth.

We almost got to the title match today! Tommy Delutz, Jr. was using 2 different Pearl Elixirs...On the right lane he was using one with the pin 4 1/2" from his axis and mass bias in the ball track with no extra hole. On the left lane, which was much drier in the track and had good recovery down the lane, Tommy used a different Pearl Elixir with a pin 5 3/4" from his PAP and mass bias in the strong position, also with no extra hole. What a great show and hope to keep the Storm/Dynothane streak going into Albany next week.

No extra hole, we lightly used scotchbrite on it to smooth it out.
Dave Arnold also used an Avenger,
